Social Works for Youth at Risk and Vulnerable People
We provide care and opportunities for street children, refugees, and nomadic communities. Bosco Boys Kuwinda and Bosco Boys Langata rehabilitate and educate street children, while our work in Kakuma supports refugee youth. Centers in Korr and Marsabit address pastoralist communities through education and development initiatives.

Providing TVET Education
The Don Bosco Tech Kenya, including Don Bosco Boys’ Town Nairobi, Don Bosco Makuyu, Don Bosco Kakuma, Don Bosco Marsabit, and Don Bosco Embu, equip youth with vocational skills for sustainable livelihoods. With state-of-the-art facilities, these centers train students in technical, agricultural, and digital skills, ensuring employability and resilience.

Academic Schools
We operate primary schools at Bosco Boys Kuwinda and Makuyu, a secondary school in Embu, and have plans for a senior school in Ndere, Siaya. These institutions follow Kenya’s CBC curriculum, the Senior Schools focus on STEM pathway, with vocational training and agriculture pathway, nurturing students holistically for future success.

Oratories and Youth Centres
Salesian youth centers foster spiritual and recreational growth. DBYES Nairobi leads with comprehensive youth animation, while Makuyu, Kakuma, Upper Hill, and Nzaikoni offer dynamic oratory programs. These centers integrate sports, mentorship, and catechesis, creating spaces for holistic development.

Salesian Parishes
Our parishes in Don Bosco Upper Hill, Nzaikoni (Machakos), Kakuma Town, Kakuma Refugee Camp, and Makuyu, cater to over 50,000 Catholics. These youth-friendly parishes provide deep catechesis, encourage youth groups, and care for all with vibrant liturgies and active lay involvement. They offer recreation facilities, embodying Don Bosco’s mission to youth.

Vocational and Career Services
The Don Bosco Job Service Office at every TVET centre links graduates with meaningful employment opportunities, offering career guidance, internships, and industry connections. This initiative ensures that our trainees transition seamlessly into the workforce. Learn more here.

Media Centre
BEAMS, located at DBYES, offers media training, recording services, and video production. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, it empowers youth with digital media skills, fostering creativity and employability.

Youth Animation Centre
DBYES Nairobi serves as our hub for youth animation, leadership formation, and training programs. It hosts workshops and retreats, empowering young people to lead with integrity and vision.

Integral Ecology
We champion sustainability through programmes like tree planting in Nzaikoni, Meru, and Kitale, promoting carbon capture and soil health. All our TVET centers have Green Clubs, that incorporate ecological education and encourage activities in tree planting, waste disposal, while others have training in Solar fitting.
