Don Bosco Mission Korr
Don Bosco Mission Korr, established in 1981 in the Kaisut Desert, is among the first Salesian presences in Kenya. It serves the pastoralist Rendille and Samburu communities through education, faith formation, and social development initiatives. Initially started by Italian Fidei Donum priest Fr. Redento Tignozoni in 1972, the mission was later entrusted to the Salesians. The mission offers nursery schools, catechetical programs, and community-development projects.
Notable developments include water projects, food distribution, a dispensary, boarding facility for school kids. There is a vibrant oratory and youth centre which attracts hundreds of kids and youth especially during holidays.
