Don Bosco Embu – Aspirantate Formation Centre
Don Bosco Embu serves as the aspirantate for Kenya, welcoming candidates who aspire to join the Salesians of Don Bosco as Brothers or Priests. After completing KSCE or its equivalent, young men embark on a one-year journey of discernment and preparation. Located within the schools’ compound, the aspirantate offers a structured programme that integrates studies, prayer, work, recreation, and community life, guided by a full-time Salesian director.
This phase allows aspirants to explore their calling, acquire practical skills, and grow in spiritual and personal maturity. It also fosters mutual understanding—helping the young men know the Salesian charism while allowing the Salesians to discern each individual’s vocation. This foundational year is a crucial step in forming committed members of the Salesian family.
